Dear Ruth, I was just thinking of the day we first met at the Palestine exhibition at the Minerva Arts Centre 9 years ago where you told me that your mum emigrated and had lived among Palestinians earlier in her life. How amazing! It was so good to meet Mary soon after that event when you brought her into our shop one day while she was visiting you in Llanidloes and I sensed straight away her open-mindedness and kindness. Over the years of our friendship I have always felt the special bondage which there has been between you and your mum. I think she has been a great inspiration and I am sure you will miss her a lot but it’s so heartening to know that the love and the memory will live on in you and your sisters, your families and all who knew and loved her. I’ll be thinking of you especially this Tuesday with much love. Karin xxx
From Bwana Sele as Mum called him, he and Ruth are now separated but he cared about Mum. Sele just wanted to send his love. Xx

Thank you for setting up this memorial to Mary. We hope that you find it a positive experience developing the site and that it becomes a place of comfort and inspiration for you to visit whenever you want or need to.
I am I and you are you, whatever we were to each other that we still are. Speak to me in the easy way which you always used. Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight? Life means all that it ever meant, it is the same as it ever was.
